Our Story

Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA) owns, operates and manages the growth of Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) and Willow Run Airport (YIP). DTW plays an important role in the fabric of our local community and has created more than 86,000 jobs, many of which belong to Metro Detroit residents. Our air travel activity has an annual economic impact of more than $10 billion in Michigan.
